The Pomsky is characterized by its affectionate nature and engaging personality. Bred with the purpose of companionship in mind, this breed thrives in close partnership with its humans. Its intelligence, biddability, and playful antics make it a charming and adaptable family dog.
While a warranted alert bark or an occasional endearing howl may be present, the ideal Pomsky is not excessively vocal. It is a sociable breed, displaying a blend of confidence and curiosity. The Pomsky greets new people and environments with friendly interest, showing neither inappropriate shyness nor aggression.
Exuberance and high energy should not be mistaken for aggression. The Pomsky is well-suited for both active lifestyles and calm, everyday family routines.

Here at Bluebird House, we truly know that Pomskies are BEST!
Once puppies leave Bluebird House , continued structure, routine, potty training, crate training, and obedience training are very important — especially because Pomskies are 50% Husky and can be very smart, independent, vocal, and strong-willed.
We recommend that our pups and owners at the very least attend Puppy Obedience Training and give a $25 Chewy gift card when you graduate. 🎓
"Dogs live what we teach, allow, and reinforce. Sometimes the training starts with us."
